We are thrilled to share that Enniskerry Community Council has won the Runner-Up Prize in the prestigious All-Ireland IPB Pride of Place 2026 Competition!
Competing in the 2,000 to 5,000 population category with a local population of just 2,008, taking home this award is an incredible testament to the spirit and dedication of our village!
While the application centered around the fantastic community-led playground in the Bog Meadow, Enniskerry is so much more than that. This achievement belongs to every single local group, volunteer, and resident who supported the presentation and works tirelessly every day to make Enniskerry the wonderful, vibrant place to live that it is.
The award was proudly accepted on behalf of our entire community by Cllr. Melanie Corrigan and Eddie Swaine (Bog Meadow Committee), celebrating the outstanding teamwork behind the project presentation.
